About
Everything you need or want to know about Magical!
About TCGs
TCG is short for Trading Card Game. It's exactly like a real TCG (think baseball cards, yu-gi-oh, or pokemon), except everything is done online. The cards are graphics, but they're treated just like the paper ones. You decide what you want to collect, play games to earn more cards, and trade with other members to get the cards you need to master.
About Magical
Magical is a TCG that focuses on all the lovely Disney songs that we all love. The songs can be either instrumental or voiced, but can not be from live-action movies, musicals, or Disney/Pixar movies. Check the card list to see what songs we have sets for.
Joining
Ooh, you want to join? Yay! Be sure to read the rules, as well as the rest of this page and then head on over to the join form. Then, you'll receive your starter pack...

  • 3 cards from your (regular) collecting deck
  • 4 random regular cards
  • 1 random special card

You may only participate in games and/or take freebies from the updates once you have your starter pack up on your trade post. You have one week to get your starter pack up, and if you let me know when you do, I'll give you another random card.

    Trading
Part of the fun of TCGs is trading with other members to get the cards you need. Visit other members' trade posts and contact them (through email or trade forms, if they have them) proposing a trade. However, do not get angry or harass them if they do not wish to trade. Courtesy is always appreciated! Also, once you have traded a card away, don't forget to take it off your trade post and log the trade in your log.
    Trade Posts
A tradepost is simply a website and/or page displaying cards and other objects a player owns. In order to join and play, you must have one. Your tradepost must contain...

  • a level badge
  • card worth
  • cards (divided into collecting and trading)
  • trade log
  • a link back to Magical

For an example of a trade post, you are welcome to visit mine. An example of a trade log is below...

Your trade log must be kept current and must detailedly explain how you earned/traded cards. It must include what card you got, when you got it, and how you got it.
  • Referrals
If someone lists you as their referrer, you get 1 random regular cards.
    Inactivity
If your TCG page hasn't been updated in a month or more and you have not notified us of a hiatus, you will be marked as troubled and emailed. If you haven't responded to the email after two weeks, you will be taken off the member list.
